Student Volunteers & Support

Why pay for Conference with a card when you can pay with your time?

Applications will be available in late October - Check back!

You’ll be attending the Conference anyway, so why not go for free? Conference volunteer, both student and mainstage positions, are highly sought after each year. Make sure to apply early for these positions. Volunteers will be out to work in all areas of Conference such as the information booth, stage expo floor, bookstore, registration, and more! Student volunteer positions are available for the first 125 students who apply. DO NOT WAIT.

Student Volunteer Program: Students, this one’s for you. How does a conference registration paid in full sound? Give us 15 hours of your time during the Conference and we’ll turn that work into volunteer hours paying for your Conference fee. Volunteers are accepted on a first come first served basis. USITT will accept the first 125 students who apply. A wait list will be started once the program is filled. Sound like a deal? Apply here.

"USITT depends on the over 150 Student Volunteers for so many different things.

Setting up and tearing down special exhibits, AV support, room monitoring, and troubleshooting are just a sample of the many things Student Volunteers assist with on-site. Their help and support is invaluable to the staff and volunteers that manage the Conference – we couldn’t do it without them!"

Mainstage Volunteer Program: An application (including resume and additional information) is required. Volunteers will be selected based on skills and experience. In exchange for 20 hours of work during the Conference, USITT will waive the Full Conference registration fee. Application deadline December 1, 2018.
